# Inpainting

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use Inpainting on Morphic:

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/IhWXhuPJ2Xw>" %}

1. Upload or generate your image on the Canvas
2. Select the image and choose the Region Select tool
3. Highlight the area you want to modify, or use the Lasso tool for more precise selection
4. Write a prompt describing the change you want to see in that specific region
5. Hit Generate

That’s how you use Inpainting to make targeted edits to any part of your image using just a prompt. Use Inpainting to seamlessly remove, replace, or add elements to your image. Edits are added as new layers, so your original image stays intact and fully editable.
