How do I draw a pear shape?
Draw a small circle on top of a larger one and join them with smooth curves. Add a short, curved stem at the top and a small dip at the base.
How do I shade a pear?
Light it from one side, keep a soft highlight on the widest part of the body and darken the opposite side. A darker band where the neck meets the body shows the change in shape.
