Land the gross-out gag on the cut
A wet plop right on the reveal gives a cartoon, a kids comedy or a prank video its punchline, without needing to show the gag.

Something soft and wet pressed flat with a gooey, slow release, for a step in the wrong place.

Flush
A swirling rush of water, a gurgle and a final gulping drain, the exit line for the whole gag.
Rubbery blat
A short squeaky whoopee-cushion blat with a sputtering tail, for the comedy beat of a sudden accident.

A rubbery blat in a still moment fills the silence with no music, in an animated short, a sketch or a mobile game cutscene.

Set a silly, juvenile tone for a kids comedy
A cartoon splat sets the level of humour early, in a children show pitch, a toy ad or a mischievous game trailer.

Hint at an accident the viewer never sees

What is a poop sound effect?
It is a comedic gross-out cue for cartoons and sketches: a wet plop, a squelch, a splat or a flush. People searching for it usually need a silly sound for a gag, not a realistic recording.
Where can I get poop sounds for a video?
Describe the wet gag you want and generate it. Each sound here came from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and change how heavy, wet or squeaky it is.
How do I make a custom poop sound?
Say what the wet action is, what it lands on and how it ends. A prompt like "a wet plop into water, one heavy round drop with a thick bloop" gives Morphic enough to work with.
What is the difference between a plop, a splat and a squelch?
A plop is one round drop into water, a splat is a hard fat smack on a surface, and a squelch is a slow soft press. The plop reads as a drop, the splat as an impact and the squelch as a mess.
Can I use these poop sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. A gag sound made for your edit also avoids the one every viewer already knows.
Why does my gag sound not funny?
Timing and size carry the joke. Place the plop on the frame of the reveal, and ask for a rounder, thicker drop or a squeakier blat so the sound feels exaggerated rather than realistic.
