How is this different from the water sound effects page?
Scale. That page is rivers, oceans, and pouring, which are masses of water. This is one droplet at a time, and the two share no clips at all.
How do I make a drip sound like a big space?
Lengthen the tail. The droplet is identical everywhere; it is the decay after it that tells the ear how far the sound travelled. A four-second thin ring reads as a cavern.
Should the drips be regular or irregular?
Regular for a tap, irregular for anything outdoors. A plumbing fault repeats on an interval, where water coming off a roof after rain never does, and getting that backwards is immediately noticeable.
Why does my droplet come back almost silent?
A single drop is the textbook low-energy event, and one model collapses that class toward silence whatever the prompt says. Every card here is generated on Seed Audio for that reason.
How do I sell depth, like a well?
