How do I draw a daisy step by step?
Start with a small circle for the centre and a larger circle around it for the petal tips, then draw the petals in opposite pairs so they stay balanced. Ask for those construction circles to remain faintly visible if you are learning.
How many petals should a daisy have?
Real daisies vary, but drawing between twelve and twenty petals looks natural. An even count around ten can look mechanical, so vary the petal lengths slightly and let a few overlap at the base.
How do I stop my daisy looking like a sunflower?
