How do I get proportions right in a person drawing?
State the proportion you want in the prompt, such as a figure about seven and a half heads tall, and name the pose. Generating a few versions and comparing them is quicker than correcting one.
How do I keep the hands from going wrong?
State the count plainly, such as two hands with five fingers each, and say what the hands are doing. If the crop does not need them, ask for a half-length drawing instead.
What is the difference between a gesture sketch and a finished study?
