How do I draw a three-quarter view rather than a pure profile?
Say how far the head is turned. At a slight turn the far eyebrow appears just past the nose, and naming that detail is the clearest way to get the angle you mean.
How do I handle the ear in a profile drawing?
Place it plainly in the prompt, roughly level between the brow and the base of the nose. Coloured pencil and graphite both handle the layered shapes well if you ask for soft edges inside the ear.
Can I make a minimal one-line profile?
