الأسئلة الشائعة
What is an arc sound effect?
It is the sound of an electric arc, current jumping across a gap through the air. A held arc hisses, buzzes and crackles, while an arc that strikes or fails gives a sharp crack or a bang. It is used for labs, welding, sci-fi machines, power surges and any character who throws electricity.
Where can I get arc sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the take you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact arc and behaviour your scene needs. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom arc sound effect?
Name what the arc jumps between and how it behaves, then generate it. A prompt like "an electric arc climbing between two vertical metal rods, buzzing and crackling as it rises" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between an arc, a spark and a zap?
An arc is current held across a gap, so it lasts and has a buzzing, hissing body. A spark is a tiny brief jump with almost no body, a single tick or snap. A zap is the stylised version used for hits and weapons, short and punchy.
Can I use these arc sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my arc sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the sound and the light disagree. A short zap under an arc that stays on screen for seconds reads as pasted on, and a long hiss under a single flash feels slow. Match the length and behaviour to what the viewer sees, a held arc for a steady glow, a strike for a single flash.
