Land the moment the knight goes down
A crash of plates on the frame a fighter falls closes a duel hard, in a game cutscene, an animated battle or a live-action fantasy short.

Armor
The clank of a knight on the march, the snap of a visor shutting, and the ring of a blow glancing off a breastplate. Describe the armor and Morphic generates it clean, from one buckle to a full suit falling.
- Ask for a visor snapping shut or a full suit hitting the floor, and that is the armor you get
- Plate made for your knight crossing the castle courtyard, clanking at the pace you describe
- Comes as clean, isolated audio you download and lay under the walk or the hit in your edit
Armor sounds for games, animation, and video edits
Marching in plate armor
Steady clank of steel plates with every stride, for a knight walking into frame or a patrol in a game.
Visor snapped shut
A sharp metal snap as the helmet closes over the face, the last beat before a charge, a joust or a duel.
Blow glancing off a breastplate
Steel ringing as a strike skids off the chest plate, for the hit that should have landed and did not get through.
Buckling on armor
Leather straps cinching and a plate settling into place, the quiet ritual of getting ready before a fight.
Powered armor footsteps
Heavy mechanical steps with a servo whine, for sci-fi suits, mechs and armored soldiers in games.
Armored knight falling
A crash of plates hitting stone, then loose pieces settling, for the end of a fight or a defeated boss.

Ways to use an armor sound effect
Carry a long walk with no dialogue
Steady marching clank keeps a slow approach moving when nobody speaks, in a video, a game corridor, an animation or a podcast drama.

Put the audience in a medieval world
A breastplate buckled on before dawn sets the period at once, in a historical drama, a role-playing game or an audio story.

Let them hear the guard before they see him
Powered armor footsteps beyond a door say something heavy is coming, so your game, film or audio drama never has to show it yet.

الأسئلة الشائعة
What is an armor sound effect?
It is a recording of armor moving or being struck: plates shifting as someone walks, a helmet closing, a blow landing or a suit falling. It tells the audience how heavy and how protected a character is before anything else happens on screen.
Where can I get armor sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the armor you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact movement your scene needs. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom armor sound effect?
Describe the armor and what it is doing, then generate it. A prompt like "a steel helmet visor snapping shut with a sharp metallic clack" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between plate, powered and light armor sounds?
Plate armor is loose steel pieces clanking against each other; powered armor adds a mechanical stomp with servo and hydraulic noise; and light armor, leather or padded, is mostly creaks and soft rustle with only a little metal. Matching the sound to the costume on screen is what makes a character feel as heavy as they look.
Can I use these armor sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my armor sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the clank does not match the pace of the walk. If the plates hit on every frame while the character takes slow steps, the ear stops believing it. Generate a march at the pace you see, or cut single steps to each footfall, and the armor sits in the scene.
