Crack

A whooshing swing that ends in one explosive snap, the sharpest crack there is, for westerns, circus acts and adventure heroes.

A hard woody crack as a walnut shell gives way, for a winter table scene, a cooking video or a close-up with a satisfying snap.

A sharp split with fibres tearing as a branch breaks over a knee, for firewood, a hike or a footstep that gives away a hiding place.

Three sharp pops of finger joints, the crack a character makes before a fight, a big task or a long session at the keyboard.

A crackle and one loud split as an ice cube hits a warm drink, for a bar close-up, a drinks advert or a hot summer scene.

A crisp shell crack on a bowl rim and a wet drop inside, the kitchen crack for recipe videos, breakfast scenes and baking shows.
