الأسئلة الشائعة
What is a metal on metal sound effect?
It is the sound of two metal surfaces rubbing, scraping or grinding together. It is built on friction and rasp rather than a single struck hit.
Where can I get metal on metal sounds for a video?
Describe the two surfaces and the motion, then generate it. The six sounds here cover scrapes, grinds, zings, a chain, a squeal and a bolt, each with its prompt printed.
How do I make a custom metal on metal sound?
Name both metals, say how they move against each other and how rough they are, for example a steel blade dragged along another blade with a rasp. Steady friction wants the word steady.
How is this different from metal clang, metal door and metal pipe sounds?
Those pages are about struck or swung metal: a clang, a door slam, a pipe hit. This page is friction, where one metal slides or grinds against another.
Can I use these metal on metal sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. They suit action edits, games and trailers.
Why does my scrape sound like feedback?
A pure high tone can read as electronic squeal. Ask for a rough rasp with gritty texture and name the metal, so the model builds a physical scrape instead of a whistle.
