Photograph of a single pale oak stool standing on a wide expanse of polished concrete, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Stool alone on a concrete floor

Photograph, 50mm. A single pale oak stool standing alone on a wide expanse of polished concrete, occupying roughly one sixth of the frame in the lower left with the rest deliberately left empty. Soft daylight from a tall window out of shot to the right rakes across the floor and throws one long soft shadow away from the stool. Real dimensional space with visible depth. Palette of warm grey concrete, bone white plaster and pale timber. Plaster wall texture and one faint scuff in the floor polish, 4:5.

Photograph of two rectangular stone blocks of different colours set side by side, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Two blocks of different stone

Photograph, 85mm. Two rectangular blocks of exactly the same dimensions standing side by side with a small gap between them, one pale travertine and one near-black basalt, so their identical form makes the difference in surface the only thing to look at. Plain mid-grey backdrop. Single soft source from the upper left gives each the same shadow. Palette of cream, charcoal and neutral grey. Real travertine pitting and basalt vesicles, one chipped bottom edge, 4:3.

Square photograph of nine identical white cups arranged in an exact three by three grid, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Nine identical cups

Square photograph, 85mm shot from directly above. Nine identical white porcelain cups arranged in an exact three by three grid with equal spacing, each handle turned the same way, on a plain pale grey surface. Even soft light from above so every cup casts the same short shadow. Palette of white porcelain on neutral grey. Real glaze pooling differences between cups and one with a slight kiln mark, so the repetition is not mechanical, 1:1.

Wide photograph of a large blank poster carrying one small printed mark in a corner, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Poster with a mark in one corner

Wide photograph, 50mm. A very large sheet of pale grey paper pinned flat to a wall carrying one small printed black square in the lower right corner and absolutely nothing else, the square no more than a fortieth of the sheet area. Even soft light across the whole sheet with a slight fall towards the left edge. Palette of pale grey paper and one black mark. Real paper cockle at the pin points and a soft shadow along the bottom edge where it lifts, 16:9.

Photograph of hard sun through louvres laying parallel stripes across a bare floor, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Louvres striping a floor

Photograph, 35mm. Hard sun coming through a set of horizontal louvres laying a series of parallel bright stripes across a bare timber floor, the stripes bending and climbing where they reach the skirting and the wall behind. The room is otherwise completely empty. Palette of warm timber, hard white stripes and deep shadow between. Real floorboard joints crossing the stripes at an angle and dust visible in the light beams, 4:3.

Edit prompt
Wide photograph of a bare facade with identical windows repeating at even spacing, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Row of identical windows

Wide photograph, 50mm shot square on. A bare rendered facade with seven identical square windows repeating at exactly even spacing across it and no signage, downpipes, planting, cables or numbers anywhere on the wall. Flat overcast light so no shadow interrupts the rhythm. The windows read as dark squares against pale render. Palette of pale warm render and near-black openings. Real render texture and a slight tonal variation between two of the panels, 16:9.

Photograph of a perforated screen throwing a grid of small shadows onto a stair flight, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Grid of shadow on a stair

Photograph, 35mm. Sun through a perforated metal screen throwing a regular grid of small bright squares across a concrete stair flight, the grid stretching and stepping as it crosses each tread and riser so the pattern is broken up by the geometry. The stair is otherwise bare with no handrail in frame. Palette of grey concrete with a grid of white light and hard shadow. Real concrete nosing wear and a slightly out of square perforation edge, 4:3.

Edit prompt
Wide photograph of a plain doorway opening in a bare plaster wall with light falling through, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Doorway cut in a bare wall

Wide photograph, 35mm. A plain rectangular doorway cut straight through a bare plaster wall with no frame, architrave or door of any kind, the reveal showing the wall thickness. Hard daylight comes through it and lays a clean bright rectangle on the floor of the dark room in front. Nothing else in either room. Camera square on to the wall. Palette of warm bone plaster, one white light rectangle and deep shadow. Real trowel marks across the plaster and a chipped arris at the reveal, 16:9.

Edit prompt
Photograph of a stair handrail casting a long clean shadow across a white wall, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Handrail shadow on a stair wall

Photograph, 50mm. A slim steel handrail running diagonally up a white stair wall, its shadow thrown clean and hard alongside it by low sun coming through an unseen window, the shadow noticeably longer and more prominent in the frame than the rail itself. The stair treads are only just visible at the bottom edge. Palette of white wall, dark grey shadow line and one thin steel highlight. Real wall paint texture in the raking light and a fixing bracket interrupting the shadow, 3:2.

Vertical photograph of a long bare corridor with a single high window part way along, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Corridor with one opening

Vertical photograph, 24mm shot straight down a long bare corridor. Plain plastered walls with no doors, fittings, skirtings or signage of any kind, broken only by one high clerestory window about two thirds of the way along which throws a single bright patch onto the opposite wall. The far end is in shadow. Palette of warm bone plaster, one white light patch and grey shadow. Real plaster undulation across the wall and a fine crack running from the window corner, 9:16.

Photograph of a junction where a raw concrete wall meets a frameless pane of glass, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Concrete meeting glass

Photograph, 85mm. The junction where a raw board-marked concrete wall meets a frameless pane of glass set directly into it with a shadow gap and no visible frame, filling the frame with nothing else identifiable. Daylight beyond the glass is blown to soft white while the concrete stays mid grey. Palette of cool grey concrete, black shadow gap and white light. Real board-mark grain and tie holes in the concrete, dust along the bottom of the glass, 3:2.

Square photograph of one small nail in a large white wall with nothing hung on it, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Single nail in a white wall

Square photograph, 85mm. A large expanse of white painted wall with a single small nail driven into it slightly above centre and nothing hanging from it, the nail casting one short shadow. Nothing else anywhere in the frame. Even soft light from the left with a very slight gradient across the wall so it is not perfectly flat. Palette of white wall, one dark point and a soft grey shadow. Real roller nap texture in the paint and a faint hairline crack below the nail, 1:1.

Edit prompt
Photograph of one folded linen cloth resting on an otherwise empty shelf, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Folded cloth on a shelf

Photograph, 85mm. A single length of natural linen folded into a crisp rectangle and resting on a long plain timber shelf that is otherwise completely empty in both directions. Soft light from the right models the fold edges. The wall behind is bare plaster. Palette of oatmeal linen, pale timber and warm plaster. Real linen slub and a soft crease where the fabric has been pressed, one shelf fixing visible, 4:5.

Edit prompt
Square photograph of one dark sphere resting on a pale flat surface with a long shadow, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Sphere on a flat plane

Square photograph, 100mm. A single matt dark grey sphere resting on a pale flat surface that extends to every edge of the frame with no horizon and no other object, one low source from the right throwing a long shadow that is hard and dense at the point of contact and softens as it lengthens. Palette of charcoal sphere on warm off-white with a grey shadow. Real fine dust on the surface and a very slight surface texture on the sphere so it is not a rendered ball, 1:1.

Edit prompt
Square photograph of a single ceramic bowl placed off centre on a large bare table, generated with Krea 2 Medium

One bowl on a wide table

Square photograph, 85mm shot from slightly above. A single unglazed stoneware bowl placed well off centre towards the lower right of a large bare ash table, with the whole upper left of the frame given over to empty timber. Soft even light from a window at the left gives the bowl one gentle shadow. Nothing else on the table at all. Palette of chalky grey stoneware and pale ash timber. Real clay grog texture in the rim and open grain in the tabletop, 1:1.

Edit prompt
Vertical photograph of an open book page carrying a single line of type near the bottom, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Page with one line at the foot

Vertical photograph, 85mm shot straight down. A single page of heavy uncoated paper carrying one short line of small dark type set low near the foot and nothing else printed anywhere on it, so the upper four fifths is bare paper. Soft raking light from the left picks up the paper surface. Page filling the frame with a little of the dark table showing at the edges. Palette of warm white paper and near-black ink. Real paper fibre and a slight cockle across the sheet, 2:3.

Photograph of a wooden chair placed close to a wall with its shadow doubled behind it, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Chair against a lit wall

Photograph, 50mm. A plain wooden chair standing about twenty centimetres from a smooth pale wall, lit by one hard source from the front left so its shadow lands tight and sharp on the wall directly behind, reading almost as a second drawn chair. The floor is bare and empty on both sides. Camera square on. Palette of warm timber, off-white wall and hard grey shadow. Real timber grain and a worn patch on the seat, 4:5.

Edit prompt
Vertical photograph of one plasterer trowel resting on a freshly finished plaster wall, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Brush laid on plaster

Vertical photograph, 85mm. A steel plasterer trowel resting flat against a freshly finished polished plaster wall, still slightly damp, its handle worn smooth and its blade bright from use. The wall fills the rest of the vertical frame with nothing else on it. Soft raking light from the left picks up the trowel sweeps in the plaster. Palette of warm bone plaster and dull steel. Real burnish marks in the finish and a smear of wet plaster on the handle, 2:3.

Edit prompt
Vertical photograph of two small metal numerals fixed to a wide bare wall, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Numbers set on a bare wall

Vertical photograph, 50mm. Two small brushed steel numerals reading 07 fixed to a wide bare concrete wall, positioned about a third of the way up and well left of centre, standing proud of the surface on hidden pins so each casts a fine shadow. Nothing else on the wall. Soft daylight from the upper right. Palette of cool grey concrete and dull brushed steel. Real concrete pour marks and a faint water stain running below the numerals, 2:3.

Edit prompt
Photograph of one long bench in an empty gallery room with bare walls, generated with Krea 2 Medium

Bench in an empty gallery

Photograph, 35mm. One long plain timber bench standing in the middle of an empty gallery room with completely bare white walls and nothing hung anywhere, the floor a pale poured resin. Even diffused light from a ceiling coffer above. Bench low and central with a great deal of wall above it. Palette of white wall, pale floor and one warm timber line. Real floor joint lines and a faint scuff where the bench has been moved, 3:2.

Perguntas frequentes

How do I use these minimalist design prompts?
Copy a prompt, paste it into Morphic with Krea 2 Medium selected, and run it as written. Then change the object and keep the clause that states how much of the frame stays empty, because that single instruction is doing more work than anything else in the prompt and it is the first thing an unguided model overrides.
How is this different from the flat illustration library?
That library is two dimensional by definition: solid fills, no shading, no depth, built for vector work and running on a model chosen for it. Everything here is dimensional and photographic. Real materials, real light, real shadow, and restraint achieved by removing things rather than by flattening them. A probe on 2026-08-18 confirmed this model holds that distinction.
Why is this library built for Krea 2 Medium?
Minimalism is a matter of aesthetic control rather than of subject, and Krea rewards prompts that describe a look. It is also deliberately not the model the flat illustration page uses, because pointing a minimalism page at a vector-oriented model is the fastest way to end up with two libraries producing the same pictures.
Why do so many prompts state a fraction of the frame?
Because emptiness has to be specified as a quantity or it will not survive. Saying that an object occupies a sixth of the frame and the rest stays empty is repeatable and checkable. Asking for a minimalist composition is not, and it tends to produce a centred object on a plain background, which is a different and much weaker thing.
How do I keep it from looking sterile?
Let one thing be imperfect and name the light properly. A trowel mark in the plaster, a slight scuff on the concrete, one edge that is not quite parallel. Minimal work goes cold when every surface is flawless, and a single specific flaw plus a directional source with a real shadow is usually enough to bring it back.
