Where can I make sky stock footage with AI?

Which sky plates render most reliably?
Slow, continuous motion holds up best: drifting cirrus, a building cumulus tower, colour draining at blue hour. Lightning is the least predictable, because the flash is a single-frame event and models tend to smear it. Generate several short lightning takes and choose the one with the cleanest strike.
Can I use a generated sky as a replacement plate?
Yes, and it is the most common use. Ask for no ground, no horizon line and no aircraft so the frame is pure sky, then match your original footage by writing in the sun direction and the time of day. A sky whose light comes from the wrong side is the giveaway that no amount of grading fixes.
How do I stop a sky gradient banding after I grade it?
Ask for texture rather than a clean fade. Fine cloud stipple, a haze layer near the horizon, or light grain across the gradient gives the image enough variation to survive a colour push. Perfectly smooth areas are what break into visible steps once you lift the contrast.
