Sound effect buttons

The one-shots that earn a button: an air horn, a boom, a record scratch, a sad trombone, applause, a wrong-answer buzzer. Play them, then describe the version your channel needs.

  • Describe the exact hit you want, the pitch, the length, and how hard it lands
  • A board nobody else has, instead of the same six clips every other channel is triggering
  • Download clean audio and load it straight into your stream deck or editor

Button sounds for streams, videos, and games

Air horn blast

A brassy two-tone honk with a hard attack and almost no tail. The most-pressed button on any board, and the one that reads as celebration and interruption at once.

Deep boom

A dark low hit with a short decaying tail. Use it to land a punchline, a reveal, or a cut that needs weight behind it rather than brightness.

Record scratch

A fast downward zip ending in a hard stop. The universal sound for stopping a scene dead, usually right before someone explains how they got here.

Sad trombone

Four brass notes sliding down and slowing at the end. The failure button, and the one that turns a mistake into a joke instead of an awkward silence.

Applause burst

A short round of clapping that starts full and cuts rather than fading. Sized for a button press, so it lands and gets out of the way of whatever you say next.

Wrong answer buzzer

A harsh, flat electric rasp with no musical pitch to it. Reach for it when a guess misses, a timer runs out, or someone needs telling no.

Ways to use sound effect buttons

Punctuate a reaction or a joke

A boom under a punchline or a horn on a win gives the moment a beat it would not have on its own. It works the same on a stream as in a video edit.

Fill a quiet moment without reaching for music

A short applause burst covers the gap while you change topic, so dead air never sets in and no music bed has to be faded up and back down.

Tell the audience something went wrong

A buzzer or a sad trombone marks a miss faster than saying so. Useful in a quiz, a game show format, or any segment that keeps score.

Stop a scene without cutting it

A record scratch halts the moment while the picture keeps running, which is what makes it the setup for an aside straight to camera.

الأسئلة الشائعة

What makes a good sound effect button?
A hard attack and a short tail. A button sound has to land the instant it is pressed and get out of the way, so anything that fades in or rings on for several seconds fights whatever is said next.
How do I build my own soundboard?
Generate each hit, download the mp3 files, and load them into the board you already use, a stream deck, your streaming software, or a soundboard app. The files are ordinary audio, so nothing here is tied to one tool.
Why does my button sound come back almost silent?
It was asked for too short. Anything under about a second and a half tends to return empty, so ask for 1.5 seconds and trim it in your editor if you want it tighter.
Can I use these sounds on a monetised stream or channel?
Yes. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use, which covers monetised video, streams, and games. There is no attribution requirement and no third-party claim to clear.
How is this different from button click sounds?
These are the sounds a button plays. Click and tap Foley, the sound the button itself makes when pressed in an interface, is a separate set with its own page in this library.
Can I get a version nobody else has?
That is the point of generating rather than downloading. Change the pitch, the length, or the character in the prompt, a higher air horn, a longer boom, a slower trombone, and the result belongs to your board alone.
