Vegetation

Hundreds of small dry crinkles from leaves shaken by hand, for a hidden watcher, a forest path or a creature moving off screen.

A rising wooden creak that ends in one sharp crack, for a trap, a climb that goes wrong or a step on a hidden twig.

Steady swishing of stems brushing past legs, for a character crossing a field in a game, an animation or a short film.

Fibre squeaks and tight tension creaks ending in a springy release, for jungle swings, climbing and plant monsters.

A dense burst of wet leaf flutter and twig scratches that settles quickly, for an ambush, a startled animal or a hiding spot.

A crisp wet snip with a metal scissor click, for gardening scenes, flower arranging and cooking show prep.
