How do I make my own emoji faces?
Open the Image tool on Morphic and describe the expression, colour, and finish you want. Generate several versions, compare them on the Canvas, then refine the prompt on the one that reads best and download it as an image.
Are these the same as the emoji on my keyboard?
No. These are original emoji-style images you generate and download as pictures. Your keyboard emoji are text characters supplied by your device, and a generated image is used the same way any other picture is.
What makes an emoji face read clearly at a small size?
Simple shapes and high contrast. Keep the eyes and mouth bold, keep the background plain, and avoid fine detail. Ask for "thick outline, plain backdrop, simple shapes" in the prompt and the face survives being scaled down.
