Preguntas frecuentes
What is a rim lighting portrait?
A rim lighting portrait places the light behind the subject so it traces a bright edge along the hair or face, separating them from a dark background. On Morphic you can generate this look by naming where the back light falls and how strong the rim should be.
Can I match a reference look?
Yes. Dial in the lens, the color and strength of the rim, and the grade until the portrait matches your reference. Add details like an 85mm lens and a warm cinematic tone and Morphic works them into the render.
Can I download these portraits for free?
Yes. Each rim-lit portrait is generated from your prompt and downloads in high resolution. Because it is an original AI creation rather than a licensed stock photo, you avoid attribution and usage restrictions.
How do I control the color of the rim?
Name the rim color in your prompt, such as a warm golden edge or a cool blue rim. You can also call for two back lights to trace both sides of the face for a stronger separation from the dark.
How do I make a matching set of portraits?
Use Style Transfer to carry one rim color, background, and grade across several portraits, so a full set feels like one shoot. Keep the same light direction in each prompt to hold the look together.
Can I use these portraits commercially?
Yes. Portraits you generate on Morphic come with commercial rights, so you can use them in campaigns, editorial, and product pages without buying a stock licence.
