Preguntas frecuentes

What is an easy spring drawing to start with?
One flowering branch. You only draw a stem, a few leaves and five or six flower heads, and the empty paper around it does most of the work. A single tulip or daffodil is the next easiest.
How do I draw petals so they look soft?
Keep the outline broken rather than closed, and let any colour drift slightly past the line. Ask for the veins as fine line and the shading as a light wash, then leave the brightest edge of each petal as bare paper.
Which colours read as spring?
Pale pink, fresh yellow-green, cream and a single stronger accent such as red tulips or blue bells. Keep the greens light and cool; anything dark or olive pushes the drawing toward late summer.
How do I draw a meadow without drawing every flower?
Ask for flowers as dabs that shrink and lose colour toward the top of the page, with only the nearest handful given petals and stems. That gives depth and keeps the drawing from turning into a pattern.
Can I make a matching set of spring drawings?
Use Style Transfer to hold one drawing style, then generate a tulip, a daffodil, a blossom branch and a bud study in turn. Only the subject changes, so the four sit together as a set on a card or a wall.
Can I get a spring drawing on a plain background?
Yes. Ask for a plain white background with no garden or sky around the subject, then crop it on the Canvas. That keeps the silhouette clean enough to place into a card, a poster or a layout.
