Preguntas frecuentes
What is a flashlight sound effect?
It is a close recording of a handheld flashlight being used: the switch clicking on or off, loose batteries rattling, the cap unscrewing or the torch hitting the floor. The click is the most used, because it marks the moment light arrives in a dark scene.
Where can I get flashlight sounds for a video?
Generate them on Morphic. You describe the exact flashlight action in your shot and get that take, so it matches the picture. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom flashlight sound effect?
Describe the action, the material of the body and how many clicks or hits, then generate it. A prompt like "a flashlight button clicked on and off four times with a clear gap between each" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a flashlight click and a light switch?
A flashlight click is small and close, a sprung button in a handheld tube, often with a faint metal ring or a battery rattle behind it. A wall light switch is a flatter snap from a plate fixed to a wall. If your torch sounds like a room light, ask for a tail button click on a metal flashlight.
Can I use these flashlight sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my flashlight sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the click is too loud or a frame late. A flashlight is a small object held close, so the click should be crisp but modest, and it has to land exactly as the beam appears. Slide it until it locks to that frame and keep the level below the dialogue.
