Preguntas frecuentes
What is an ooh sound effect?
It is a short spoken "ooh" that reacts to something impressive, juicy or painful, used in reaction clips, games and animation. The same sound means different things depending on the delivery, from awe to a wince.
Where can I get ooh sounds for a video?
Prompting for the ooh suits reveals, glow-ups and wince-worthy falls, since you set the tone in the tag and skip the sound board. Every clip on this page was made from the prompt shown beside it, so you can start from one.
How do I make a custom ooh sound effect?
Write "Ooh" with a short word after it, such as "nice" or "that looks bad", and put the delivery in a bracket at the start, like [impressed, drawn out]. Generate it, then adjust the word or the mood until it fits the moment.
What is the difference between an impressed, a teasing and a wincing ooh?
An impressed ooh is long and rising, a reaction to something that looks great. A teasing ooh bounces in a sing-song way, aimed at a friend showing off. A wincing ooh is tight and pulled back, the sound people make watching a painful fall.
Can I use these ooh sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my ooh not read in the edit?
An ooh with no word after it can sound vague, so pick a take with "nice", "fancy" or "that looks bad" to make the meaning clear. Place it right on the moment and dip the music so the reaction sits on top.
