Why does my shout come back as an animal roar?
Because the prompt described a roar without pinning the species. Say "open-throated human shout" and "a single loud vowel" explicitly. Describing the mechanism as a voice is what keeps the model out of big-cat territory.
How do I make it sound like a monster instead of a person?
Pitch it far down and add a rough gravelled edge, but keep the word human in the prompt. A human voice pitched down reads as a creature; asking for a creature directly usually returns an animal recording instead.
How do I get a whole crowd shouting?
Describe the unit before the mass: many separate voices, each starting at a slightly different moment. Prompting the crowd as one thing returns a wash that sounds like noise rather than people.
Can I get a female or younger voice?
