What is a play sound effect?
It is the cue that tells you something has started: a play button tapped, a game round beginning or a countdown reaching go. They are short, bright and clear so they register instantly.
Where can I get play sounds for an app or game?

How do I make a custom play sound effect?
Name the control or the moment and the tone, for example "a game start jingle, four quick bright notes rising", and generate. Change the number of notes to move from a tap to a sting.
What is the difference between a play button and a game start?
A play button is a small, quiet tap that confirms a press. A game start is longer and brighter, usually a run of rising notes, because it launches an experience rather than a track.

Why does my play cue sound too much like music?
Naming a run of notes can pull the result toward a melody. Cut it to two or three notes, ask for "short and clean", and stop the tail early so it stays a cue.
