Ways to use a hug sound effect
Hold a long embrace with no music under it
An embrace rustle and a coat creak carry a held hug without a score, keeping a short film, a game cutscene or a podcast scene honest.

الأسئلة الشائعة
What is a hug sound effect?
A hug sound is the cloth and contact of an embrace: fabric pressing and rustling, back pats, the creak of a coat as arms tighten. It has no voice in it, so it fits under dialogue or music and makes a hug on screen feel physical.
Where can I get hug sounds for a video?
Generate the hug from a prompt on Morphic, naming the clothes and how tight it is. You get it sooner than you could dig one out of a stock library, matched to the costumes in shot. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it.
How do I make a custom hug sound effect?
Name the fabrics, the tightness and any pats, then generate it. A prompt like "a tight bear hug, a loud creak of heavy jackets crushing together" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a hug, a back pat and a bear hug sound?
A hug is mostly fabric, a rustle as two bodies press together. A back pat adds firm hand hits on top, which reads as friendly or brotherly. A bear hug is tighter and louder, with heavy clothes creaking and crushing under the squeeze.
Can I use these hug sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my hug sound not sit right in the edit?
The fabric in the sound often does not match the costumes. A leather creak on two people in T-shirts reads wrong, so generate the hug for the clothes in the shot. Start the rustle as the arms close and keep it low under any dialogue.
