Preguntas frecuentes
How do I draw an open mouth?
Remember that the jaw hinges near the ear, so the chin drops down and slightly back as the mouth opens. Draw the upper teeth fixed under the nose, then the lower teeth and tongue moving with the jaw.
How do I draw teeth in an open mouth?
Draw the teeth as a curved band following the arc of the jaw, and add only a few soft lines between them. Shade the teeth further back so they sit inside the mouth.
How do the lips change when the mouth opens?
The lips stretch and thin out as the mouth widens. The corners pull back in a smile or laugh and round forward in a yawn or a shout.
How do I draw an open mouth from the side?
Show the lower jaw angled down from the ear, the lips pushed forward and the teeth as a short arc. The open shape reads as a wedge in profile.
How do I practice different open mouth expressions?
Draw the same face several times with a laugh, a shout, a yawn and a gasp. Changing the mouth, the cheeks and the eyes together makes each one read clearly.
Can I make a practice sheet of mouth drawings?
Yes. Use Style Transfer to hold one look, generate several expressions, arrange them on the Canvas and download the sheet in HD for study.
