Draw a telescope and finish it in your browser

Describe the telescope you want in Morphic's Image tool, from a brass refractor on a wooden tripod to a clean labelled cutaway. Set the tube length, the mount, the medium and the line weight, refine the drawing on the Canvas, then download it in HD.

Preguntas frecuentes

How do I draw a telescope step by step?
Build it from three parts: the tube as a long tapering cylinder, the eyepiece as a short cylinder at an angle to it, and the tripod as three legs splayed from one point. Naming those parts separately keeps the proportions right.
How do I make the tube look round instead of flat?
Ask for hatching that wraps around the barrel rather than running along it. Curved hatch lines plus a bright edge on one side and a dark band on the other are what turn a rectangle into a cylinder.
How do I draw the tripod legs so they look stable?
Ask for three legs splayed from a single point with the two front legs wider apart than the back one. Say that the feet sit on one flat ground line, otherwise the mount tends to float.
Can I get a labelled diagram for a school project?
Ask for a hard-pencil cutaway showing the objective lens, the tube and the eyepiece, with ruled leader lines and space for labels. You can add the label text yourself on the Canvas afterwards.
How do I add a night sky without losing the telescope?
Keep the instrument as the only sharp thing in the picture. Ask for the sky as smudged dark tone with a scatter of small stars, and the telescope drawn crisply in front of it as a silhouette or a lit outline.
Which medium suits a telescope drawing best?
Ink line suits brass fittings and mechanical detail, hard pencil suits a cutaway, charcoal or chalk on dark paper suits a night scene, and a flat side elevation is the one to use in a layout or a poster.
