How do I use these street photography prompts?
Copy a prompt, paste it into Morphic with Krea 2 Medium selected, and run it as written. Then change the city and keep the clause describing the moment, because a street photograph is made by what is happening at one instant rather than by the location, and the instant is the part most prompts leave out.
Why is this library built for Krea 2 Medium?
Street work is a look as much as a subject. Colour negative stock, available light and framing that is slightly off. Krea rewards prompts that describe a look rather than a specification, and at four credits an image you can run the same corner three ways to see which grade actually suited it.
How is this different from the black and white library?
That library owns monochrome, where the whole craft is tonal separation and contrast. Every frame here is in colour and names a palette, usually one strong colour against a muted street. Between them you get both halves of the tradition rather than the same technique twice, and the street cards on the monochrome page are worth reading alongside these.
How do I get a candid moment rather than a posed one?
Describe an action caught partway through and give the subject somewhere else to look. Someone stepping off a kerb mid-stride, a hand halfway to a pocket, a head turned to a sound out of frame. Then say explicitly that nobody is aware of the camera. Left unsaid, the model has almost everyone look straight down the lens.
Why do several of these prompts describe imperfect framing?
Because it is honest to how the pictures are actually taken and it reads as immediacy. A slight tilt, a figure clipped by the edge, a lamp post growing out of the frame. Naming one specific flaw is enough. Asking for a well-composed street photograph produces something that looks arranged, which is the opposite of the intent.
