Mark the moment a memory takes over
A rising sweep under a dissolve tells viewers the story has slipped into the past, useful in short films, slideshows and stage projections alike.

Harp
Every harp sound an edit needs, ready to play: sweeping glissandos, single plucks, rolled chords, and shimmering runs. Describe the one your scene is missing and Morphic generates it in seconds.
- Time a glissando to land exactly on the dissolve, not a frame after it.
- Written for your scene, not lifted from the same harp library everyone else plucks.
- Comes down as a clean stereo file that sits under dialogue without any cleanup.
Harp sounds for animation, games, and video edits
Upward glissando
A full sweep up the strings, bright at the top, the classic cue for drifting into a daydream or a flashback.
Downward glissando
The same sweep in reverse, settling downward. Good for coming back out of a memory, or letting a joke deflate gently.
Single pluck
One string, one note, decaying naturally. Small enough to punctuate a line of dialogue or ping a menu selection.
Rolled chord
Notes fanned out one after another into a warm chord, a graceful arrival for a title, a bride, or a reveal.
Gentle arpeggio
A slow climbing figure that repeats without demanding attention; sits under narration and lets it stay the focus.
Harmonic ping
A glassy, bell-like tone from lightly touched strings, thin and silvery, for tiny magical details and delicate alerts.

Ways to use harp sound effects
When a pause needs something to carry it
Holds a still moment while a title card breathes: a slow arpeggio gives podcast intros, wedding edits and photo montages something soft to travel on.

The hush of a grand old ballroom
Plucked notes echoing through a wide room place a scene in a hotel lobby or fairy-tale court, whether it's an audiobook chapter or a game menu screen.
Prompt bearbeiten
Magic is happening just outside the frame
One shimmering harmonic suggests an enchantment taking hold offscreen, letting animation, radio drama and trailers hint at wonder before showing it.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
What is a harp sound effect?
It is a short, isolated recording of a harp, made to drop into an edit rather than to carry a whole piece of music. It can be a sweeping glissando, a single plucked note, a rolled chord, or a glassy harmonic, each one a clean take with nothing else in the file, so it sits under picture without pulling an arrangement in with it.
Where can I get a harp sound for a video?
Generate one rather than search for it. Describing the take you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact sweep or pluck your scene needs instead of the closest available clip. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom harp sound effect?
Describe the instrument, the gesture, and its direction, then generate it. A prompt like "a concert harp swept in one upward glissando, ringing and overlapping" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until the sweep and the tail fit your cut.
What is a harp glissando?
A glissando is the harp's signature move: a hand swept across the strings so every note sounds in fast succession and rings over the ones before it, making a bright cascade. Swept upward it lifts and opens a moment, swept downward it settles one, which is why it is the sound most edits reach for to mark a dreamy transition.
Can I use these harp sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated rather than pulled from a shared library, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my harp sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually it is the length of the ring rather than the sound itself. A harp's tail is long, so a glissando laid too close to a hard cut gets clipped and sounds abrupt, while a single pluck under a busy scene disappears. Generate the gesture with room for its tail and place it a beat early, and it blooms into the moment instead of fighting it.
