How do I change a greeting from warm to cold?
Work on the end of the word. A gentle rise with a soft landing reads as friendly; the same word held even in pitch and stopped abruptly reads as unwelcoming. The words are identical.
How do I get a greeting that sounds like a phone call?
Ask for it spoken briskly with a small questioning lift at the end. That combination of speed and uncertainty is exactly how people answer a call, and it separates it from greeting someone in a room.
Can I get a female or older voice?
Yes. Change the description at the front of the prompt and keep the delivery notes, since the shape of the word is what carries the meaning rather than the voice.
Why does my call into an empty room sound close?
The space was not in the prompt. This is the one card here where a large space belongs, so say "calling out into a large empty space" and leave the dry-and-close instruction off this clip only.
How do I get a group rather than one voice?
