Land the logo reveal
A low swell arriving with the title card gives a product reveal or trailer cut the physical thump a picture change alone can't deliver.

Sub Drop
The low sub-bass fall that lands a beat you feel more than hear. Describe the sub drop your edit needs, from a slow slide to a tight clipped hit, and Morphic generates it clean in seconds.
- Dial the depth and tail so the drop lands exactly where your title snaps into frame.
- Generated for this cut, not a bass hit already buried under a thousand other trailers.
- Comes back as clear full-fidelity audio that sits under your picture with no cleanup first.
Sub drops for trailers, video, and games
Classic sub drop
The familiar deep fall from high to low, three seconds of pure weight, and the default choice for a title card or a big first reveal.
Punchy drop
Short and forceful, all impact and little tail, for fast cuts where a long fall would smear across the following shot.
Long slide
A slow descent over several seconds, good under a rising camera move or a countdown that needs the floor to keep dropping.
Tight hit
Almost percussive: a single compressed thud that punctuates a hard cut without leaving any sustained rumble behind it.
Distorted drop
Saturated and gritty, with harmonic edge that survives on phone speakers where a pure sine wave would vanish entirely.
Reverse sub drop
Builds upward into the change instead of falling away from it; place the tail on the frame where the picture flips.

Ways to use a sub drop sound effect
When the room needs weight between lines
Slide one under a held shot or a slow menu transition and the pause stops feeling empty; the low end carries it until dialogue returns.
Prompt bearbeiten
A trailer that feels bigger than the room
Repeated drops set the scale of a scene, telling viewers of a sci-fi short or a game trailer that the world around them is enormous and heavy.
Prompt bearbeiten
Something huge just moved offscreen
Drop the pitch and a giant door, a distant collapse or an approaching craft exists just past frame while the camera stays on one face.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
What is a sub drop sound effect?
A sub drop is a low-frequency tone, usually a sine sub-bass, that slides downward in pitch to land a beat you feel more than hear. It lives in the lowest part of the mix and carries weight rather than melody, which is why it is used under a title hit, a bass drop, or a hard cut to make the moment land in the body.
Where can I get a sub drop sound for a video?
Generate one rather than search for it. Describing the fall you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact sub drop your beat needs instead of the closest available clip. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom sub drop sound effect?
Describe the tone, which way it moves, and how fast it falls, then generate it. A prompt like "a low sine sub-bass tone sliding downward, a felt low end fading at the bottom" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the slide until it lands on your beat.
Why can I feel my sub drop but barely hear it?
That is expected, and it is the point. A sub drop lives below roughly 60 Hz, where small speakers and laptop drivers cannot reproduce much, so it reads as pressure and weight rather than a pitched note. On a system with real low end it lands in the chest, which is why it is a beat you feel more than hear.
Can I use these sub drop sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated rather than pulled from a shared library, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my sub drop not sit right in the edit?
Usually it is the low end fighting the music rather than the sound itself. A sub drop shares the same range as the bass, so if both play at full weight the mix turns to mud and the drop loses its punch. Generate a version with the fall you need, place it on the beat, and give it room in the low end.
