# Point Select

Here's a quick tutorial on how to use Point Select on Morphic:

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/EwLEJVi-T6I>" %}

1. Upload or generate an image on the Canvas
2. Select the image, then open the Focus Mode menu and choose Object Selection
3. Switch from Smart Select to Point Select from the dropdown
4. Use Include Points to mark the elements you want to extract
5. Add Exclude Points to indicate what should be left out
6. Click the 'Segment' button to separate the selected elements from the image
7. Move the extracted elements freely or place them in another frame
8. Export the segmented elements in PNG, JPEG, or WebP format

Point Select on Morphic lets you separate key elements in your frame, like characters, objects, or backgrounds, into distinct layers using Include and Exclude Points.

That’s how you use the Point Select feature on Morphic. You can move, resize, and reuse the separated layers across frames or export them individually.
