What is the difference between white, pink, and brown noise?
It is how the energy is spread. White holds every frequency at equal strength and sounds bright and hissy. Pink is weighted toward the lower frequencies and sounds warmer. Brown rolls the highs away further again and sounds like a distant roar.
What is green noise?
Green noise concentrates its energy in the middle of the range, around the frequencies of moving water and wind in trees, which is why it is described as the sound of nature. It has its own page in this library with beds you can play.
How long can a generated white noise clip be?
The model returns a continuous bed rather than a fixed length, and the long takes here run to a couple of minutes. For a longer session, place the clip on your timeline and extend it there.
Why does my white noise sound like it is pulsing?
The prompt did not ask for continuity. Add "even and unbroken with no pulsing" and name the mechanism first, a continuous hiss, rather than the label. Describing the movement is what stops the model returning separate bursts with gaps between them.
How do I get a fan or air conditioner instead of pure hiss?
