Unbroken swell on open ocean

The camera low to the water as a long four metre swell rolls through frame without breaking, heavy grey overcast on cold steel-blue water.

Questions fréquentes

Where can I make sea stock footage with AI?
You can generate it in your browser on Morphic. Open the Text to Video tool, describe the swell size, the surface state and the light, and the plate generates in minutes. No boat, no housing and no swell forecast to work around.
Which ocean shots render most reliably?
Unbroken swell, retreating foam, and subsurface light all hold up well because the motion is continuous and repetitive. A wave breaking over the lens is the hardest ask in the category: spray, foam and transparency all have to stay coherent at once. Cover the sequence with swell and go for one break.
How do I get the water colour I actually want?
Name two colours and the thing that causes them. Steel blue under grey cloud, green-grey where sediment is stirred up, deep indigo past a shelf edge. Water takes its colour from the sky and the bottom, so describing both gets you far closer than asking for blue sea.
Can I use generated ocean clips in a commercial edit?
Yes. There is no location release to chase and no vessel owner to clear, which is the usual friction with real marine footage. Keep hulls plain and unmarked in the prompt and leave coastlines generic, so nothing in frame identifies a real port, boat or stretch of shore.
How is this different from a stock library subscription?
Library water rarely matches across a cut, because two clips shot in different swells and different light will never intercut cleanly. Generating lets you write the same conditions into every plate in the sequence, at the ratio you are finishing in, with the clip length set by the edit rather than by the file.
