How do I draw a lily step by step?
Draw a centre line and a shallow cone for the throat first, then place six petals around it in two alternating layers of three. Add the stamens last so they sit in front of the petals rather than behind.
How do I draw lily stamens properly?
Ask for six long filaments curving outward at slightly different angles, each ending in a heavy oval anther. Stamens drawn straight and evenly spaced are what make most lily drawings look stiff.
What is the difference between drawing a lily and a calla lily?
