よくある質問
What is a scratch paper sound effect?
It is the small noise made by working on a throwaway sheet: pencil rasp, pen scrapes, a page crumpled up or ripped in half. It is quiet foley that makes a desk scene feel lived in.
Where can I find scratch paper sounds for a video?
Describe the exact action, such as a slow crumple or a quick pencil scratch, and generate it. That gives you the specific paper noise you need in place of a generic rustle, and each page sound shows the prompt behind it.
How do I make a custom scratch paper sound?
Say what touches the paper and what it does, then add a texture word like dry, crisp or fibrous. "A sheet torn in half in one slow rip" is the kind of prompt that works well.
What is the difference between crumpling and tearing?
Crumpling is a run of many small crackles as creases form, while tearing is one long ragged rip of fibres. Use crumple for frustration and tear for a sharper, more final break.
Can I use these paper sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. The sounds are generated for you, so they will not match a clip other creators have used.
Why does my paper sound come out too loud or too thin?
Paper is quiet, so ask for a close recording and a single sheet rather than a pile. If it sounds thin, add a texture word such as crisp or fibrous and set the volume in your edit.
