Stamp

The solid thump of a rubber stamp on paper, the double tap on an ink pad before it lands, and the springy clack of a self-inking stamp. Describe the stamp your edit needs and Morphic generates it clean.

  • A rubber stamp on a form, an ink pad tap first or a heavy slam on a desk
  • A thump made for your border crossing booth or permit office
  • Comes back as clean, isolated audio you download and drop on the frame the stamp hits the page

Ways to use a stamp sound effect

Make a decision final with one hard stamp

A loud slam on the desk closes an argument or lands a punchline on the frame, in a comedy sketch, an explainer video or a paperwork game.

Keep a paperwork montage moving

A steady run of thuds carries a long sequence of forms being processed without any score, in a video, an animation or a podcast segment.

Put the audience at a border crossing desk

An ink pad tap and a firm stamp tell listeners a passport is being checked before the camera shows the booth, in film, audio drama or a game.

Let a secret letter be sealed out of frame

A soft wax press heard over a candle says a letter has been sealed, so a period drama, a mystery podcast or an adventure game can keep the page hidden.

よくある質問

What is a stamp sound effect?
It is a recording of a hand stamp meeting paper, usually a rubber stamp on a desk, with its solid thump and slight lift. It also covers self-inking stamps and wax seals. It tells the audience that something has been checked, signed off or made official.
Where can I get stamp sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the stamp and how it lands takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact take your scene needs. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom stamp sound effect?
Describe the stamp, the surface and how hard it lands, then generate it. A prompt like "a rubber stamp pressed firmly onto paper on a wooden desk, a solid thump, close and clearly audible" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a rubber stamp, a self-inking stamp and a wax seal?
A rubber stamp is a plain thump of rubber on paper, often after a tap on an ink pad. A self-inking stamp adds a springy plastic clack as its die flips down and back. A wax seal is softer, a squelch into warm wax and a light metal tap as the seal comes away.
Can I use these stamp sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my stamp sound not sit right in the edit?
A stamp is short and quiet, so it often gets lost or lands a frame late. Put the thump on the exact frame the stamp touches the paper, and lift its level a little above the scene. If it still feels weak, use the heavy slam take, which carries the desk as well as the stamp.
