How do I design gold foil stickers?

Will the printed sticker actually be shiny?
The artwork shows a foil look, but a home printer prints it as flat gold color. For real metallic shine, send the design to a printer that offers hot foil stamping or metallic foil sticker paper.
How do I prepare a design for foil printing?
Keep the gold parts as simple solid shapes on a plain backing. Foil printers usually need a separate layer marking where the foil goes, so ask your printer which file format they want for the foil area.
