Object

A ceramic mug lifted off a table, a glass jar set down hard, a cardboard box dragged along and a metal tin bouncing twice. Describe the object and what is done to it and Morphic generates the sound clean.

Object sounds for games, animation, and video edits

Mug picked up

A short scrape of ceramic on wood and a soft lift, the small sound of a hand taking an object.

Jar set down

One solid thunk and a light glass ring, for putting something heavy down with intent.

Box dragged

A steady dry scraping slide that stops with a bump, for pulling cardboard across a floor.

Tin dropped

A hard clang, a smaller clang and a rattle as a small metal tin bounces and settles.

Wooden block rolling

A rumbling roll that slows and ends with a small tipping tap.

Fingernail taps

Three small dry ticks with gaps on hard plastic, the tapping of an idle hand.

Fill a quiet tabletop shot without music

Fingernail taps and a rolling block keep a still desk scene alive, in a product film, a vlog or an explainer.

SSS

What is an object sound effect?
It is the sound of an ordinary thing being handled: lifted, set down, dragged, dropped or rolled. These small cues make a scene feel physical, and the object and the surface decide how it sounds.
Where can I get object sounds for a video?
Describe the object and the action, then generate it. The six sounds here each come from the prompt printed beside them, so you can change the material or the surface for your own scene.
How do I make a custom object sound effect?
Give the object a size and a material, then what happens to it. "A cardboard box dragged across a smooth wood surface" gives Morphic enough to build the sound, and you can change either word.
Why do the material and surface matter so much?
Ceramic on wood rings softly, metal on stone clangs and cardboard on wood scrapes dry. Naming both is what separates a believable drop from a generic bump.
Can I use these object sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Each sound is generated for you, so it will not repeat from another creator's edit.
Why does my object sound feel too small for the shot?
A close microphone makes everything sound light. Add a heavier material or a bigger object in the prompt, and keep the sound tight so it does not fight the dialogue.
