How do I sketch a phone so the proportions look right?
Block the whole body as one rectangle first and get its height-to-width ratio down before anything else, because that ratio is most of what makes a handset recognisable. Then set the corner radius as a light arc at each corner and connect them. Drawing the outline freehand in one pass almost always produces a shape that is too square or too rounded.
How do I draw the camera lenses without them looking flat?
Lenses are circles seen in perspective, so on any angled view they become ellipses, and all the ellipses on one face share the same tilt.
