Undercut the moment someone gets it wrong
A failed attempt, a wrong answer, a plan quietly collapsing, a buzzy note deflates the moment faster than any caption on screen could.

Kazoo
The buzzy, nasal hum that turns anything into a joke. Generate the exact kazoo your edit needs, from a single held note to a cheap little fanfare or a wet raspberry razz, and drop it clean on the beat.
- Pick the exact shade of silly, a limp single buzz, or a triumphant fanfare played badly on purpose
- Made for your bit, not the same wah-wah clip every other short has already worn out
- Comes back trimmed and level-matched, so the gag lands on the frame you picked for it
Kazoo cues for video, streams, and animation
Single note
One flat, buzzing tone held about a second too long. The simplest way to announce that the thing on screen did not go well.
Cheap fanfare
Four notes of ceremony played on plastic. Announces an award nobody wanted, or an achievement of absolutely no consequence.
Raspberry razz
A wet, sputtering descent. Blunter than a note, and best aimed at a person, an idea or a product demo that has just fallen over.
Kazoo slide
One buzzy pitch bending downward like a balloon losing air. Pairs neatly with a character sinking out of the bottom of frame.
Da-da notes
The two-note sting that arrives half a moment after a mistake, buzzed instead of played. Punctuation for a small, private disaster.
Mock trumpet
A wobbling attempt at a heroic call, all buzz and no brass. Use it when someone announces themselves and really shouldn't have.

Ways to use a kazoo sound effect
When a bad idea needs its own theme tune
Under a slow reveal of something clearly doomed, a wobbling kazoo line carries the joke through footage that has no dialogue at all.
Prompt bearbeiten
A birthday party with no budget
Paper hats, warm juice, one balloon. Kazoo tones instantly place a scene as small, homemade and cheerfully underfunded.
Prompt bearbeiten
The least impressive celebration you never see
A parade you can hear but never see, a triumph happening one room over, the buzz makes clear that nobody should be impressed.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
What is the kazoo sound effect?
It is the buzzy, nasal hum a kazoo makes when someone hums into it, which a membrane turns into a comic razz. It reads instantly as cheap and unserious, so an edit uses it to undercut a moment or play a mock fanfare over something that does not deserve one.
Where can I get a kazoo sound for a video?
Generate one rather than search for it. Describing the kazoo you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact buzz your edit needs instead of the closest available clip. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom kazoo sound effect?
Describe how the kazoo plays and how many notes it hits, then generate it. A prompt like "a short comic kazoo fanfare, three or four buzzy nasal notes rising" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until the take fits your beat.
Why does a kazoo sound so buzzy?
A kazoo does not make its own note; a thin membrane inside vibrates against whatever you hum, adding a nasal buzz on top of the pitch. That buzz is why the instrument sounds cheap and comic no matter what you play, and it is exactly the quality that makes it read as a joke on screen.
Can I use these kazoo sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated rather than pulled from a shared library, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my kazoo sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually it is timing rather than the sound itself. A kazoo joke works on the cut, landing just after the thing it is commenting on, not on top of it, so the audience reads the moment and then the razz. Generate a version at the length you need and slide it a few frames late, and it lands far more often.
