Artifacts
Have Copilot turn your chat's work into a page, like a review sheet, a storyboard or a character bible, with copy-ready prompts for each. Revise it, share it or download it.
Artifacts on Morphic are pages Copilot builds from your chat's work: a review sheet, takes side by side, a storyboard, a character bible and more. Describe the page you want and it opens next to the chat, ready to review or share.
Create an artifact
- Open a Copilot chat that has the images, videos or script you want to see
- Describe the page, for example 'Put these shots on a page: each image with its prompt below it, in a grid'
- Click the card marked 'Artifact' to open the page in the side pane
For a closer first version:
- Name the columns, the order and what to leave out
- Or start from a ready-made prompt in Prompt templates
On the page:
- Status badges, scores, search boxes and tabs can be added
- Click an image to see it full size
- Videos load when you press play
- Long lists show 100 items at a time
Revise an artifact
- Ask for the change in the same chat, like 'add a voice line column'
- Copilot saves it as a new version with its own card
- If the pane shows 'Newer version available', click 'Open latest'
For a second, separate page, start your prompt with 'Separately'.
Review and fix a batch
- Send the Review sheet prompt, then the First-pass check prompt, from Review and QC
- Add anything Copilot missed, like 'Also mark shot 3 as needs work: wrong blade shape'
- Click '...' on the artifact card, then 'Attach as reference', and ask 'Write a corrected prompt for each image marked needs work'
- Regenerate only those images
Copilot's check is a first pass:
- It can catch a wrong angle or a product that looks like a real brand
- It can miss a wrong shape or a small detail
- Look over the sheet yourself before you approve it
The side pane
The icons at the top right of an artifact:
| Icon | What it does |
|---|---|
| External sharing | Turns the public link on or off |
| Show raw | Shows the page's source |
| Copy link | Copies a link for people who can open this file, not the public link |
| Full screen | Opens the page over the whole window |
| Download | Saves the page as an HTML file. Its images load from Morphic, so it needs an internet connection |
Elsewhere:
- List a chat's artifacts: open 'Gallery', click the filter icon, then 'Type' > 'Artifacts'
- The '...' menu on an artifact card: 'Add to favorites', 'Attach as reference' and 'Download'
Share an artifact
- Click the share icon at the top right of the artifact
- Turn on 'External sharing' and copy the link under the toggle
- Anyone with the link can view and download the page, without a Morphic account
- They see only that page, not the chat or your other files
- The link always shows the latest version
- Turn 'External sharing' off to stop sharing
Morphic may use shared assets for marketing purposes. Leave 'External sharing' off for work you do not want shown.
Prompt templates
- Click the copy icon on a prompt
- Paste it into a chat that has the work
- If it ends with a label and a colon, paste your details after it
- Send it
Copilot does not track status, schedules or dates. Paste those in when a prompt asks for them.
Review and QC
Make a review sheet of all the images and videos in this chat, in prompt order: the label, the image or clip, and its prompt underneath, with a status badge on each: approved, needs work or rejected.Check each item on the review sheet against its prompt. Mark it approved, or needs work if anything is off (wrong object, angle or medium, text in the frame, or something that looks like a real brand), with a one-line reason.Make a shot QC list of every video in this chat: shot number, thumbnail, short description, length, aspect ratio and a status set to pending, with the totals at the top.Put every image of this character beside their reference image, in story order, and flag any shot where the face, hair or costume does not match. Character:Make a page of only the shots marked needs work, one section per episode, each with its image, prompt and reason.Lay out the shot list against the timestamps in the attached transcript or script, one row per shot, and flag any stretch with no shot.Compare and select

Before I generate anything, put every character and location reference sheet in this chat on one page and flag anything that conflicts: faces, costumes, colors or props.Make a character bible: each character's role, age, look notes, want and secret, a color palette as swatches with hex codes, and the continuity rules every shot must follow. Use any reference images in this chat.Draw a character web showing who owes, loves or works with whom, with every link labelled and a legend.Make a location bible for each location: time of day, mood, the scenes set there, key props, sound and a color palette.Make a beat sheet: one column per episode with its main beats, and mark each cliffhanger.Make a call sheet with call time, sunset, weather and wrap at the top, then a table of scenes with set, cast, pages and start time. | Search | 'add a search box' |

| No new images | 'don't generate any images' |
Tips:
- Build several pages at once by numbering them: 'Make three separate artifacts: 1) a shot QC list, 2) a contact sheet, 3) a color script.'
- Scores and selects are Copilot's judgement, so treat them as a starting point
Limits
- Nothing you type or change on a page is saved, including inputs and scores. Ask Copilot to change what a page shows.
- Copilot builds from the chat's work. It can gather images from other chats in the file, but cannot tell which chat each came from.
- An image you share by web address is added to your project first.
- One artifact holds up to 1 MB and 2,000 files. Split a big project by episode or scene.
- A script, treatment or notes comes back as text or a document, not an artifact.
- Only Copilot makes artifacts, and you cannot upload an HTML file as one. A page cannot reach the internet or your account, and loads media only from Morphic.
Credits
- Building or revising an artifact is a Copilot reply, charged like any other
- Pages that watch videos, write long text or gather hundreds of files take more steps and cost more
- See Credits for how replies are charged
That's how artifacts work on Morphic. Use one when a chat has more work than you can review by scrolling, or when you need to show it to someone.
