Questions fréquentes
What is a plastic sound effect?
It is the audio of hard plastic objects: snapping, popping, creaking, clattering and twisting. These are the everyday sounds of containers, toys and casings rather than flimsy wrapping.
Where can I get plastic sounds for a video?
Describe the object and the action and generate it, rather than scrolling a household-sounds pack. Each sound here comes from the prompt beside it, so you can change the object and keep the structure.
How do I make a custom plastic sound effect?
Name the object, the action and the texture, for example "a snap-on plastic tub lid prised off, a single hollow pop", and generate. Swap the object to get a different pitch.
How is hard plastic different from a plastic bag?
Hard plastic gives clicks, cracks and hollow knocks, while a bag gives crinkles and rustles. Naming a tub, a clip or a bottle cap keeps the model on the rigid side; the plastic bag page covers the crinkle.
Can I use these plastic sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Each sound is made for your project and is not a shared stock recording.
Why does my plastic sound muffled?
A thick or soft object gives a dull thud. Ask for "thin hard plastic", add "dry" and "close", and the high clicks that make plastic recognisable come through.
