Questions fréquentes
What is a rattle sound effect?
It is the sound of loose parts knocking against each other or their container: marbles in a bottle, a lid on a boiling pot, a window in its frame or a toy rattle. The material and the speed of the shake decide the character, from a bright glass clatter to a dull metal clunk.
Where can I get rattle sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the object and the shake takes less time than digging through a stock library, and the exact clatter your scene needs is made for you. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom rattle sound effect?
Describe what is rattling, what holds it and how hard it is shaken, then generate it. A prompt like "glass marbles shaken hard inside a glass bottle, a bright rapid clattering rattle" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a rattle, a vibration and a chain sound?
A rattle is loose pieces knocking together in quick, uneven hits. A vibration is a steady buzz from something shaking as a whole, and chains give heavy metal links clinking and dragging, so pick the rattle when small parts are loose.
Can I use these rattle sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my rattle sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the rhythm of the rattle does not match the shaking on screen. Describe how hard and how fast the object is shaken, then cut the sound so each burst lines up with a bump, a boil or a shake you can see.
