Questions fréquentes
What is a skin sound effect?
It is the sound of a hand touching bare skin: a slap, a rub, a pat or a scratch. It is close, small and physical.
Where can I get skin sounds for a video?
Describe the touch and the body part and generate it. That is faster than sorting through slap clips, and each cue here came from the prompt printed beside it.
How do I make a custom skin sound effect?
Name the touch, the skin it lands on and the count, then generate it. A prompt such as "three soft even taps with a dull fleshy thud each" gives Morphic the rhythm and the weight.
What is the difference between a slap and a pat?
A slap is fast, wet and sharp, with a hard start. A pat is soft, dull and often repeated. Pick the slap for a reaction and the pat for comfort.
Can I use these skin sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. These are simple foley cues, so nobody's recording is copied.
Why does my slap sound fake in the edit?
Slaps sound fake when they are too clean. Ask for a short fleshy slap with no echo and sync it to the frame the hand lands, not the frame before.
