Celebration sound effects

Celebrations for film, games, and video

Small cheer

Separate voices rising into a ragged shout and fading. Three or four people, not a stadium, which is the size most scenes actually need.

Big room cheer

Dozens of voices going up at once, the hooray a whole room lets out together, taking a while to come down. Use it when the win is public and the scene can afford the space.

Party horn

A reedy paper blower unrolling and stopping short. The smallest sound here and the one that most reliably reads as a birthday rather than a victory.

Confetti cannon

A compressed pop and then paper fluttering down for a couple of seconds. The fall afterwards is what sells it, so leave room for it in the cut.

Success chime

Three bell tones climbing to a bright finish, the ta-da that lands on a reveal. The version for a screen rather than a room, and the one that fits over a graphic without a crowd behind it.

Clapping burst

A quick scatter of hands with uneven timing, cut short rather than faded. Sized to sit under a cheer instead of standing on its own.

Ways to use a celebration sound effect

Punctuate the moment it works

Land a chime or a small cheer on the frame where the result lands. In a game or an app demo it does the same job a graphic would, faster.

Fill a happy pause without music

A clapping burst covers the gap after a reveal so the scene can breathe, without a track having to rise and then get out of the way again.

Tell the audience what kind of party it is

A paper blower reads as a birthday. A confetti cannon and a big cheer read as a public win. The sound sets the occasion before the set dressing does.

Put a crowd outside the frame

A big cheer under a close-up places a full room around a single face, so the scene feels large without a wide shot or a crowd to film.

よくある質問

How do I get a small celebration instead of a stadium?
Give the crowd a count. "A small group of people, separate voices" returns three or four; "dozens of separate voices" returns a room. Without a size the model defaults to the biggest version it knows.
Why does my cheer sound like noise instead of people?
It was prompted as one mass. Any dense sound needs its unit described first, separate voices rising together, individual claps at uneven timing, and the density second. That is what stops a crowd collapsing into a hiss.
What is the difference between this and the applause page?
Applause is pure clapping and is its own page. The clapping here is a short burst meant to sit under a cheer or a horn, as one layer in a celebration rather than the whole sound.
How do I make confetti sound like confetti?
Ask for the pop and the fall as two events. The compressed pop alone reads as a small explosion; it is the soft shower of paper fluttering down afterwards that tells the audience what came out of it.
Can I layer these instead of using one clip?
Yes, and it usually sounds better. A cheer underneath, a horn near the front, and a clapping burst tucked behind gives a scene depth that a single stock celebration clip cannot.
Can I use celebration audio in a commercial project?
Yes. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use, including advertising, broadcast, and games. Download it and place it on your timeline.
