Ooze

A bubbling green slime pool, thick strings dripping off an edge and a sludge mass sliding forward with a wet squelch. Describe how heavy and how wet your ooze is and Morphic generates it as a clean audio file.

  • Describe the exact ooze your scene needs, from slow bubbles to a full gush
  • Yours alone, not a slime clip already in a hundred other videos
  • Download clean audio and drop it straight into your edit

Ooze sounds for games, animation, and video edits

Bubbling slime

Large sticky bubbles rising and popping in a thick pool, for a potion pot, a toxic spill or a creature pit.

Slime dripping

Heavy strings of slime stretching and landing one blob at a time, for a ceiling leak, a monster lair or a lab accident.

Sludge creeping

A slow mass of sludge sliding across a surface, for a blob creature, a sewer flood or a spreading spill.

Squelching step

A boot sinking into thick slime and pulling out with a sucking pop, for a character wading through goo.

Slime poured out

A heavy glug of slime tipped from a container, then a slow spreading splat, for a prank gag or a gross reveal.

Slime sac burst

A swollen sac popping and gushing, then slow dripping, for a creature kill, an egg hatch or a gooey jump scare.

Ways to use an ooze sound effect

Land the gross moment a creature bursts open

A wet pop and a gush on the cut makes the reveal land, in a monster film, a horror game or an animated gag.

Keep a silent lab or lair alive without music

Slow bubbling under a quiet shot gives the space something to listen to, in a game level, a short film or a podcast scene.

Show a sewer or swamp is thick and dangerous

A boot dragging through goo tells the audience the ground is wrong before anyone speaks, in a survival game or a horror short.

Let viewers hear a blob creeping out of frame

Sludge sliding from the next room suggests a threat that never appears on screen, in an animated short, a game or an audio drama.

よくある質問

What is an ooze sound effect?
It is the thick, wet, sticky sound of slime, sludge or goo moving: bubbling, dripping, sliding and squelching. Creature scenes and gross-out gags lean on it to make a surface feel alive.
Where can I get ooze sounds for a video?
Describe the slime you need and generate it, instead of searching a library for the one squelch that nearly fits. Every sound on this page came from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust.
How do I make a custom ooze sound?
Say what the goo is doing and how heavy it is, for example "thick slime stretching off an edge and dripping, each blob landing with a wet splat". Change the wording for thicker, wetter or faster ooze and generate again.
What is the difference between ooze and a water splash?
Ooze is viscous, so sounds drag, stretch and pop slowly, with sticky transients. Water splashes are thin and bright and fall away fast. Naming words like thick, sticky and slow keeps the result on the goo side.
Can I use these ooze sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Each sound is made for your project, so it will not turn up in an unrelated game or film.
Why does my ooze sound too watery?
The prompt probably leaned on liquid words. Add thick, heavy and sticky, describe slow movement and a wet pop, and drop words like splash or flowing that point toward thin water.
