Use cases
Animated titles and end cards
Slide a title in over your opening shot and close on an animated end card. Keyframes on the Compose timeline set the entrance, the hold, and the exit, so the type moves with intent instead of cutting in flat. A strong title sets the tone before a word is spoken.
Lower thirds and name tags
Add a lower third that lands on the right line of dialogue and clears when the speaker changes. Because the graphic is keyframed on the same timeline as the footage, it stays in sync with the edit. Ideal for interviews, talking heads, and explainers.
Callouts, arrows, and stats
Point at a detail in the shot with an animated arrow, or bring up a stat that tracks a moment on screen. Keyframe position and opacity on the timeline so each callout appears when it matters and leaves before it clutters the frame.
Consistent graphics across a series
Build a title and lower-third setup once, then turn it into a Workflow and rerun it on every episode. The animated look stays consistent across the series, and you skip rebuilding the same keyframed elements clip after clip.
