How to create your Japanese micro drama with AI
- 01
Start from the script or the audio episode
Upload the script as a PDF, Word or text file, or paste it in. For an audio drama, transcribe it with word-level timing. Copilot then plans every scene and shot before anything renders.
- 02
Build the series bible
Make reference sheets for every recurring character, location, prop and outfit with the Character Reference Sheet workflow. Approve them once, and every shot pulls from them, so faces stay the same all season.
- 03
Storyboard, then generate
Generate each scene as a storyboard grid, split it into shots and check them against the script. Choose the model per shot: low-cost drafts for coverage, and your strongest model and motion for the hook, the reveal and the cliffhanger.
- 04
Add the Japanese voices
Keep your own Japanese narration, or give each character a saved Japanese voice so they sound the same in every episode. Then lip sync the dialogue shots.
- 05
Cut the episode in Compose
Ask Copilot to time the shots to the audio on the Compose timeline, lay in music and sound effects with the music ducked under dialogue, and export the vertical MP4.
- 06
Save it as a Workflow
Ask Copilot to create a workflow from the session. Your team runs it on every new episode, with the models and settings locked and every version kept.
Dub your micro drama into Japanese
Already have a series in Chinese, Korean or English? Copilot dubs each episode into Japanese in the original voices. Lay the Japanese track over the picture and lip sync the dialogue shots. Test one dialogue scene first.
