AI static stock video

Generate static stock video in Morphic's AI video generator: a clean frame collapsing into snow, or noise blooming to white and settling back. Lay the pass over your cut on Compose.

Static plates you can generate

Static sequences you can stage

Signal drops to snow

A clean dark frame loses signal and collapses into full-frame monochrome noise in one beat, then holds steady at full density.

Edit prompt

Noise blooms to white

Full-frame noise rises sharply in brightness until the frame blooms to flat white, then falls back into grain. A transition beat.

Edit prompt

Chroma speckle drifting

Dense noise carrying warm and cold colour speckle drifts slowly across frame while the camera pushes in a little, the grain growing coarser.

Edit prompt

Static clears to black

Full-density noise thins out gradually until nothing is left but a clean black frame. The out-point that matches the drop-in.

FAQs

Does static stock video mean noise or a motionless shot?
On this page it means signal noise: snow, speckle, drop-outs and the flicker an editor lays over a cut as texture or a transition. If you came looking for a motionless camera, the term for that is a locked-off shot, and you get it by writing the camera move out of the prompt rather than searching for static.
Where can I make static stock video with AI?
You can generate it in your browser on Morphic. Open the Text to Video tool, describe the event, a drop to snow, a bloom to white, a build out of black, along with the density and the colour, and the pass renders in minutes ready to drop on a layer above your cut.
How do I blend a static pass into an existing edit?
Generate it against pure black and let the blend mode do the work: screen or add keeps the bright grain and drops the black, and an opacity ramp controls how far it intrudes. Ask for even density edge to edge so the layer does not fall off in the corners, and match the grain size to the footage underneath rather than the other way round.
Which static clips render most reliably?
Full-frame passes with one clear event are the safest: drop, bloom, build, clear. Anything that needs repeating structure across the frame, bars, test patterns or regular scan geometry, is the least reliable, and it also drags in designs you should not be reproducing. Keep the frame free of shapes and lettering.
How is this different from a static overlay pack from a stock library?
A pack gives you a fixed loop at a fixed density, a fixed length and one aspect ratio, so you stretch and mask it until it roughly fits. Generating means the density, the colour, the beat and the duration are written to the cut, in the ratio the project is finished in, with no repeating tell when the clip runs long.
