Connectors
How to connect your organization's Google Drive and ElevenLabs account to Morphic, and manage the connections.
Connectors on Morphic link your organization's accounts in other tools. An admin connects an account once, and everyone in the organization works with it from Morphic.
Connectors are part of Enterprise plans. Only admins see Connectors in Settings; members use what is connected without setting anything up. On other plans, 'Connect' opens a prompt to upgrade.

Google Drive
Connect a Google Drive so your team can save files from Morphic into it.
- Click 'Connect' beside Google Drive
- Sign in to Google and allow Morphic to create files in your Drive
- Back in Connectors, the row reads 'Connected as' and the Google account
Then ask Copilot to save files to your Drive. 'Disconnect' stops Morphic saving files there. Files already in Drive stay where they are.
ElevenLabs
Connect your organization's ElevenLabs account with an API key. Its voices then become your organization's voices in Morphic, speech with them runs on that account, and voices your team makes with Copilot are made in it. See Your ElevenLabs voices for how to use them.
Create an API key
Open API Keys
In ElevenLabs, click Developers in the left sidebar, then the API Keys tab.
Create a key
Click 'Create Key' and name it after where it is used, such as Morphic.
Set its permissions
Leave 'Restrict Key' on and set these. The rest can stay at 'No Access'.
| Permission in ElevenLabs | Set to | What Morphic uses it for |
|---|---|---|
| Text to Speech | Access | Speech, dialogue and voice previews |
| Speech to Speech | Access | Speech to speech |
| Voices | Write | Syncing the account's voices, making new ones, and deleting a new voice Morphic could not keep |
| User | Access | Checking the key, and reading the account's voice slots and whether its plan includes instant voice cloning |
'Write' includes read. 'Read' on Voices is enough to sync and speak, but making voices needs 'Write'.
Copy the key
ElevenLabs shows the full key only once, when you create it.
Connect the account
- Open Connectors
- Beside ElevenLabs, paste the key into 'Paste an API key'
- Click 'Connect'
Morphic checks the key with ElevenLabs, then syncs the account's voices, and 'ElevenLabs connected' says how many were added. If the key is missing a permission, the message names it. Add it to the key in ElevenLabs and paste the key again.
Voice slots
Once connected, the row reads 'Connected to ElevenLabs' and how many of the account's voice slots are used, such as '12 of 30 voice slots used'. The account's ElevenLabs plan sets the number of slots, and every voice made through Morphic takes one.
Sync now
Voices sync when you connect, whenever you save a new key, and every night. To pick up a change in ElevenLabs straight away, such as a new or renamed voice, click 'Sync now'. The message says how many voices were added, updated and removed.
Replace key
To swap in a new key for the same account, click 'Replace key', paste the new key and click 'Save key'. The connection and its voices stay as they are.
A key for a different ElevenLabs account is refused. To switch accounts, disconnect this one first, then connect the other.
Key no longer accepted
If ElevenLabs stops accepting the key, for example because it was deleted or lost a permission, the row reads "ElevenLabs no longer accepts this organization's API key. Paste a new key to reconnect." Until a new key is saved, the account's voices stay listed, but speech with them and making new voices stop. Paste a new key for the same account and click 'Save key'.
Disconnect
- Click 'Disconnect' beside ElevenLabs
- Click 'Disconnect' again in 'Disconnect ElevenLabs?' to confirm
Morphic stops using the account for voices and cloning, and removes its voices from Morphic. They stay in ElevenLabs, and audio you already made stays in Morphic. The API key stays active in ElevenLabs, so delete it there if you no longer need it.
That's how you manage connectors on Morphic. Set them up when your team already keeps its files in Google Drive or its voices in ElevenLabs.
