References

Save your characters and styles as references to achieve a consistent look and reuse them effortlessly in your generations.

References

Morphic lets you create character and style references to keep your work consistent.

Character references capture your characters from a few images, or even one, and let you generate new poses, expressions, and moments that stay true to the original design.

Style references capture the look and feel of your art, including color, tone, and texture, and apply it naturally to new frames. Every new generation carries the same visual style.

Whether making storyboards, animations, or scenes, you can keep characters and visuals consistent across every frame.

Morphic's models made my characters and style feel consistent across every scene.

Character and style reference FAQs

What is a reference in Morphic?
Save a character, style, product or object once, from one or more images, under a name. Then call it by name in any generation and the look holds from shot to shot. Nothing is trained.
Does Morphic train a model on my character?
No. The feature was renamed from Models to References; generation passes your saved reference images straight to the model you pick, so there is no training step.
How many references can I save?
The free plan includes one saved reference, every paid plan includes 100, and Enterprise is unlimited.
How do I keep a character consistent across scenes?
Save a character sheet for each recurring character, and a location sheet for recurring places, then pass them into every generation. Copilot carries each attached reference through to the model.
Can I use more than one reference in a single prompt?
Yes. Several references, stills or footage, can ride on one generation.
Can I share a reference with my team?
Yes. Share a reference by email so others can generate with that character or style.
